What is a plant-based diet?

Here at v.eats I’m all about designing a lifestyle that is sustainable, in a way that makes you feel your best. A plant-based diet is not a form of restriction, it’s a way of eating the foods your body nutrients, allows you to be flexible and which is sustainable.

Simply put, a plant-based diet is a way of eating plant-centric.

It focuses on vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and whole grains (*all recipes are gluten-free), I want you to see plants as a natural medicine, that’s why I’ll show you at every recipe the health benefits of the ingredients.

A plant-based diet is not the same diet as a vegan diet, even if they’re similar. It doesn’t mean you have to cut all animal products. They still can be part of a plant-based lifestyle, but they are seen as a supporting role. Eating plant-centric allows you to be flexible and to make the meal work for you by adding animal products of your choice if that’s what your body thrives on.

You should not put any restrictions on yourself, just focus on the variety of colorful, fresh whole foods.
